Bryan Construction first started building “Green” for the US Army Corps of Engineers over a decade ago. The projects were then called “SPiRiT” (Sustainable Project Rating Tool) which are tailored to the U.S. Army’s specific needs and embodies excepted energy and environmental practices. This required rating tool was a preamble to the USGBC’s (US Green Building Council) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Rating System 3.

LEED Silver has become the new standard within the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and numerous other government agencies. These entities have adopted LEED criteria as a crucial part of their current and future planning and building requirements.
As a member of the USGBC (US Green Building Council), Bryan Construction not only focuses on LEED certified projects for the US Government, but also provides excellent LEED building performance for the commercial market as well. BCI is honored to have been chosen by COPT (Corporate Office Properties Trust) to build Colorado Springs, CO’s first LEED Gold Certified office buildings.
Bryan Construction’s Project Management staff is LEED AP (Accredited Professional) certified to include the ability to provide LEED consulting services to meet customer requirements.
