Sustainability

Bryan Construction has earned the distinction of being one of Colorado’s leading sustainable builders. Our proven building experience within federal and commercial market sectors has advanced Bryan Construction’s core operational direction. We have created a corporate culture that encourages reuse and recycling at work and at home. Bryan Construction recycles and reuses materials from office locations and field operations.

Bryan Construction first started building “green” for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers over a decade ago. The projects were then called “SPiRiT” (Sustainable Project Rating Tool) and were tailored to the U.S. Army’s specific needs, embodying accepted energy and environmental practices. This required rating tool was a preamble to the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Rating System 3.

LEED Silver has become the new standard for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and numerous other government agencies. These entities have adopted LEED criteria as a crucial part of their planning and building requirements.

As a member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), Bryan Construction not only focuses on LEED-certified projects for the U.S. Government, but also provides excellent LEED building performance for the commercial market. We are honored to have been chosen by COPT (Corporate Office Properties Trust) to build the first LEED-Gold-Certified office building in Colorado Springs.

Bryan Construction’s Project Management staff is LEED-AP (Accredited Professional)-certified to provide LEED consulting services to meet customer requirements. If your company is considering a sustainable building project, Bryan Construction has the tenured expertise and outstanding customer service to help achieve your LEED Certification goals.
