Arthur House at Colorado College

Project Description

One of many projects in Bryan Construction’s long history of partnership with Colorado College, this project involved the complete restoration and repair of the exterior terrace of Arthur House, built in 1881 and since converted into a residence hall.

The scope of work included the tuckpointing of all masonry, the removal and re-installation of patio pavers, and restoration of damaged sandstone wall caps. Partially funded from a grant received from the State Historic Fund, all work had to be completed in accordance with the Department of Interior’s restoration standards.
