Evans Army Community Hospital, Floors 1 and 2

Project Description

Completed in seven phases, this $20.4 million project included the demolition and renovation of 110,000 square feet of critical military hospital space – while the facility was occupied and in use

A total of nine departments – Physical Therapy, Emergency, OB/GYN, General Surgery, Pediatrics, Family Medicine, Orthopedics, Disease Management, and Dermatology – were either partially or completely demolished and rebuilt to meet the demands of cutting-edge medicine as well as sustainable-construction LEED Silver certification.

Administrative spaces were expanded, new examination and treatment rooms were built, and critical infrastructure was upgraded and tested, to include chilled water, hot water, air distribution, oxygen and control systems.

Bryan Construction completed every phase of the project ahead of schedule, receiving an “Outstanding” rating from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
