Colorado Springs Utilities Fontanero Service Center

When providing valuable resources like water to a city of 500,000, it’s vital to have an adequate space to work and accommodate enough staff to keep operations running smoothly. The Colorado Springs Utilities Fontanero Service Center project consisted of a 12,000-square-foot addition and a 26,000-square-foot interior remodel to the existing water services and facilities building. The addition housed new maintenance bays, welding operations, and storage space for the Colorado Springs Water Services Department.

The renovation phase of the project involved converting the existing service bays into new office space. A second floor was added, and two new parking lots were constructed adjacent to the building.
