Supporting the 21st Medical Group and the thousands of warriors and dependents they serve, Bryan Construction was tasked with repairs to and renewal of the existing Peterson Air Force Base Medical Clinic. The project consisted of 13 phases of both design and construction, and ultimately involved 56,491 square feet.
Work began with the construction of a new 10,570-square-foot temporary dental clinic to act as swing space. Eleven portable 70-foot by 14-foot modules were transported to Peterson to be assembled on site, complete with all utilities for the dental chairs.
Phase II consisted of 45,921 square feet of remodeling in the main clinic, including a new pediatrics and women’s health section, a public health clinic, and flight-medicine, family-practice and records-maintenance sections, along with a lobby entrance and parking lot.
