RQ-4B Global Hawk Hangar

Beale Air Force Base California

First built in 2007, the RQ-4B Global Hawk is a formidable, unmanned reconnaissance aircraft with a range of 12,000 miles—roughly half the circumference of the earth. The Global Hawk program is based at Beale Air Force Base, outside of Sacramento, California. Bryan Construction successfully built a 46,000-square-foot hangar for the RQ-4Bs, consisting of two 175-foot wide aircraft bays with a two-story office complex between them. The project included a high-expansion foam fire suppression system and a 400 hertz power distribution system. Additionally, the floors received an epoxy coating and we installed a Vindicator security system.
