Bryan Construction built this Category 3 hangar for the U.S. Coast Guard in Great Inagua, The Bahamas, the southernmost island in the Bahamian chain. Built to withstand 150 mile-per-hour winds, the 21,351-square-foot berthing hangar houses two U.S. Coast Guard HH-60 helicopters. Ancillary support structures include a four-bedroom modular barracks and a hazardous-materials building. The hangar is LEED Certified, the first LEED accredited building in The Bahamas.
