This was a design/build renovation of 16,695 square feet for Historical Building 284 at F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyo. The project scope included interior demolition and abatement of the building, and renovation of spaces for new office, laboratory, file-storage, break-room, restroom and conference spaces for a Missile Engineering Squadron. New finishes included drywall/framing, paint, flooring, ceilings, and restoration of the original decorative tin ceiling and historic windows to reflect the original building finishes from the early 1900s. New mechanical, electrical, geothermal, traction-elevator and fire-suppression systems were added. In addition, the historical renovation included restoration and tuckpointing of the original brick masonry.
