This building is a unique classroom/research facility to study the effect of climate change on local prairie animals and vegetation. Bryan Construction built the 3,700-square-foot new wood-framed building with structural glu-lam beams. The classroom has a 10-foot roof overhang with exposed beams. During construction, the owner added two 1,250-square-foot modular buildings with concrete foundations and patios to the project scope, to be used as housing for researchers at the facility.
