The Chieftain Building

Project Description

From July 2009 to June 2010, Drahota, A Bryan Construction Company, worked with an enterprising development group to create a multi-use building to help serve the community of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The 33,284 square-foot, 3-story Chieftain Building was designed to blend architecturally with the downtown area and features a combination of intricate, detailed architectural precast components (weighing up to 12,000 pounds) and custom brickwork to present a modern exterior with a historic feel. The plan called for 7 retail stores, 8 office suites, a 2-story restaurant, 2 residential penthouses and a 17-car heated indoor garage.
