What a great weekend in Colorado Springs for a Hill Climb race!
A Bryan Construction employee recently completed his 7th year as a volunteer at the 95th running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. The second-oldest race in the United Sates, the Hill Climb is not your ordinary race; and Bryan Construction Superintendent, Brian Holt, is not your ordinary construction worker. Not only did Brian volunteer with the event set-up and take-down, but he also volunteered with Ducati to stage the Ducati Hot Grid. Holt has additionally served as a Motorcycle Class Race Official for the past 5 years.
Led by Holt for the past 7 years, Bryan Construction has volunteered labor and equipment to help get the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb ready for action. This year, the engine was revved up and Bryan Construction supplied all of the power grid generators and cables which powered the tire warmers (so the tires were race-ready from the start), TV’s, and live feeds at the race staging area. Fencing in front of the race control pit was supplied, and Holt even put out and picked up the 850 hay bales that lined the race curves.
Bryan Construction enjoyed giving back to the community and we look forward to participating in this event for years to come.
