A Shop Built for Speed and Scale

The heart of this facility is its vehicle maintenance shop — a spacious, well-equipped area featuring nine lift stations that allow USPS to perform everything from tire changes to engine replacements. Each station is tied into a custom-built system of air-powered reels and fluid lines, fed directly by high-capacity tanks storing new oil, used oil, and transmission fluid. These are managed through a centralized compressor system that allows for fast, efficient service from anywhere on the shop floor.

Supporting the Team Behind the Fleet

Mechanic comfort and organization were also key priorities. Locker rooms with showers and benches support the staff’s daily needs, while a large second-floor stock room houses both vehicle parts and administrative records. Overlooking the shop is the manager’s office, providing real-time visibility into operations and workflow.

Environmentally Friendly by Design

At the rear of the facility sits an isolated wash bay, designed to pressure wash vehicles while reusing water through a highly efficient reclamation system. Water from each wash is cleaned through two sand/oil separators and three filtration tanks, then pumped back into the system for future use. This minimizes waste and drastically reduces water usage — a smart, sustainable solution that aligns with USPS’s environmental goals.

Delivered with Precision

This project demanded custom mechanical work, careful utility coordination, and detailed system integration — all of which our team executed without disruption and within USPS’s timeline and budget. It’s a great example of how Bryan Construction turns complex renovations into high-performance facilities, ready to serve day one.
