Bryan Construction built two large maintenance facilities of 58,200-square-feet for Fort Carson’s Tactical Equipment Maintenance Facilities. Features included tactical/organizational vehicle parking, organizational storage, TUAV Maintenance Hangars, a Distribution Company warehouse, petroleum/hazardous material storage, and maintenance space. Information systems, fire protection systems, alarm systems, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and Energy Monitoring Control Systems (EMCS) were installed within the facilities. Supporting facilities include site development, utilities and connections, lighting, paving, parking, walks, tank trail connections, curbs and gutters, storm drainage, landscaping, and signage. We took measures to enhance sustainability and energy and to meet the Department of Defense (DOD) Minimum Antiterrorism for Buildings standards. The limits of disturbance for the project are approximately 83 acres.
