Project Overview
Located just off the main entrance of the 701 and 799 buildings on East Hampden Avenue in Englewood, the renovated suite at Swedish Medical Center spans approximately 2,200 square feet. Bryan Construction was brought on board to complete a dual-scope project, renovating an existing medical office suite and finishing a previously undeveloped core shell space. The goal was to deliver a high-functioning, patient-focused environment that could support daily operations while maintaining flexibility for future growth.
Design and Functionality
The completed suite now features a welcoming reception and waiting area that sets the tone for a calm and professional patient experience. Inside, the layout supports both patient privacy and operational efficiency with two dressing rooms and a separate sub-waiting area specifically designed for mammography appointments. A dedicated consultation room, offices for staff and physicians, and a well-equipped break room contribute to a streamlined and supportive clinical environment. Two restrooms and ample storage areas ensure that both staff and patient needs are fully met throughout the day. An unfinished area within the suite was deliberately left ready to accommodate future expansion, giving Invision Sally Jobe the flexibility to scale services as needed.
Collaborative Aesthetic Vision
The interior palette and finishes were carefully curated by Invision Sally Jobe’s Regional Manager of Clinical Operations in collaboration with the design team at Davis Partnership Architects. Every material and color choice was made with the patient experience in mind, resulting in a serene, calming atmosphere that reflects the organization’s commitment to comfort and care.
Final Outcome
This project at Swedish Medical Center stands as a testament to Bryan Construction’s ability to deliver high-quality healthcare spaces that balance function, form, and future growth. Through close collaboration with Invision Sally Jobe and Davis Partnership Architects, we were able to transform a partially finished space into a welcoming and efficient diagnostic imaging suite that meets the highest standards of care.
